A trip to Emerald Bay inspired this little painting.  What an incredibly beautiful place!   An artist friend and I took a picnic and spent the day enjoying the wonders of nature.  Stellar jays and squirrels visited us while we were painting ... I'm sure they wanted to see our masterpieces! 

I believe anyone can paint ... all you need is the desire to learn,  a good instructor ... then practice, practice, practice!

If "learning to paint" is one of your New Year's Resolutions, this is the perfect workshop for you!  It is a beginner level workshop.  You will  learn how to paint with acrylic on canvas, using a wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques. You'll also learn how to set up your home studio, how to journal, care of  brushes & equipment, color mixing and how to have fun painting!

You'll receive hand-outs and valuable information that will help you become the artist you really want to be!
